LONDON MUSEUM
I worked on the London Museum rebrand guidelines at Uncommon. To help position Molly the pigeon as the mascot of the museum - made by the hands of a Londoner, from the clay of the River Thames - I also wrote a manifesto about clay.
We are born from clay and earth;
Our bodies, cities and civilisations
Moulded
And sculptured
From these fertile elements
At first, breeding human souls and flesh;
Our hands and bodies,
made to replicate life
And so we create, with our hands
Turning clay and water into shapes
Shapes into cities
Cities into history
We are born from clay and earth.
